Hygiene

Creating a Healthier, More Hygienic Building

Building Managers can keep bringing value to their tenants on a meaningful level with amenities that span beyond the restroom and into common areas and personal office spaces.

Hygiene is an issue most likely to impact customer satisfaction and complaints. We know that this is a topic that not only impacts overall efficiencies, costs and labor but also has a profound effect on employee productivity and on their overall experience in the building. It literally touches every issue that is important to managers, cleaners and occupants alike.

Here are some questions that Building Managers should be asking: “Are there personal hygiene products available in and outside of the restroom?”; “Are floors and/or sinks being disinfected properly?”; “Is there signage in and around the restroom related to hygiene?”

‘How effective is my hot spot treatment protocol?’

Kimberly-Clark Professional* has undertaken rigorous, unbiased and independent testing, and evaluated how germs proliferate, where they gather, and what their effect is on the workplace and the economy.

From this information. we created The Healthy Workplace Project*, a service solution which aims to combat illness and infection in the workplace through its Hygienify and Germ Hot Spots protocols. It’s a wellness program designed to educate and engage Tenant Employees into taking proactive steps to protect the health and well-being of everyone in an office environment, thus establishing a direct relationship between the Tenant and the Building Manager.

Over the last five years, we’ve proudly offered The Healthy Workplace Project* to customers and we will continue to do so as a part of the C.H.E.S.S.* Program. Building Managers can keep bringing value to their tenants on a meaningful level with amenities that span beyond the restroom and into common areas and personal office spaces.
